Who is MACF

The organisation is the result of the efforts of a group of Liverpool’s  Muslim art and culture enthusiasts eager to educate people on Muslim arts and cultures.

This  is achieved through consultation with the local residents of the area, especially those of the Muslim faith and their representatives who come from different ethnic backgrounds such as Yemeni, Somali, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nigerian, Senegalese etc.

Dr. Nabil Sultan (an academic)

Dr Nabil Sultanis founder and, currently,  the elected Chairman of MACF. He says: "Liverpool is indeed a fun city to live in. It is the birth place of some of the world's best singers,  entertainers, comedians and footballers.

Liverpool was once a great and prosperous city, thanks to its sea port, once one of the busiest in the world.

Liverpool is once again emerging as a great city; but this time it's relying on the richness of its cultural diversity and artistic and architectural talents and heritage that are now transforming it into a tourist attraction.

We hope MACF will make a positive contribution to the success of this beautiful city".
